What WhoKnew is

WhoKnew is an AI-powered people search tool that helps organizations find the right person for any question or task. We index profile information, skills, and expertise to make it easy to discover who knows what within your organization.

Your responsibilities

When using WhoKnew, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information: Keep your profile information truthful and up-to-date.
• Respect others: Don't use the service to harass, stalk, or harm other users.
• Keep your account secure: Use a strong password and don't share your login credentials.
• Follow your organization's policies: Your employer may have additional rules about how you use workplace tools.

Acceptable use

You may NOT use WhoKnew to:

• Scrape or harvest data: Don't use automated tools to extract data from the platform.
• Harass or intimidate: Don't use the service to target, stalk, or harass anyone.
• Access unauthorized data: Don't attempt to access other organizations' data or bypass security measures.
• Violate laws: Don't use the service for anything illegal.
• Impersonate others: Don't pretend to be someone you're not.
• Interfere with the service: Don't try to disrupt, overload, or attack our systems.

Intellectual property

Our stuff: WhoKnew, including our software, design, and branding, belongs to us. You can't copy, modify, or distribute it without permission.

Your stuff: You retain ownership of any content you upload to WhoKnew. You grant us a license to use that content to provide the service (like indexing your profile for search).

Limitation of liability

We work hard to provide a reliable service, but we can't guarantee perfection. WhoKnew is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can leave anytime: You can delete your account at any time through your account settings.

We can terminate for cause: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in harmful behavior, or if we're required to by law.

What happens after: Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. We'll delete your data according to our privacy policy and any applicable data retention requirements.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For significant changes, we'll notify you via email or through the app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
